Here you are, back from Sasquatch, or finally not being accosted by a media stampede of coverage of everything you were missing out on.
Catch your breath, Rigsketball is coming. With thirty two Portland bands, a PBR supply not to be ignored, and a minivan that transforms into a regulation b-ball hoop you better catch it quick because not only is this the largest bill of bands involved in a single event in PDX this June but you’re invited to come enjoy the going ons for FREE!
The games will be taking place across Portland based on the location choices made by the competing bands. The folks at Rigsketball HQ will be releasing all the locations of the games as soon as the bands have picked them, for now you can gear up and decide which match-ups from the first round (6/7/2011 - 6/10/2011) you just have to be there to see by checking out the bracket they’ve laid out for us.(Place your bets!)
This event is being funded by donation at the kickstarter and these bands are offering some great stuff you can receive through while helping them make this dream a reality so if you like the idea of a shit ton of bands putting together a free event solely for the fun of it then help em out with that four bucks you were gonna spend on an excessive coffee.
